Robot Profile 1

More digital painting practice. I once drew a whole sheet of profile robots to practice drawing profiles. I have since found that sheet and plan on re-using it to practice digital painting. I expect this will be the first of about 6 or so robot profile pictures to come in the next few weeks. I hope you like it- any critique is welcome as I am so new to all of this! Digital Painting Practice

Today's doodle is a work in progress. I fished up an old character I sketched in an old drawing pad from High-School and started to paint him. I watched about an hours worth of digital painting tutorials and found a method I find a lot more comfortable than other methods I have tried in times past. Believe it or not, this is about 3 hours of work! Hopefully with time I get faster but truth be told- Digital Painting takes a long time! this is ok though! I really want to learn and have been wanting to learn for a long time. Hopefully tomorrow I can put in another few hours and post another doodle. Have a great Saturday!

Run Hugo Run!

My wife and I recently started watching LOST from season 1 on netflix. It has been fun streaming them through the x-box. A few days a week we will watch a couple episodes once the kids are in bed. So far I think my favorite Character is Hugo- although sometimes he does stuff that ticks me off! We are in the middle of season 4 now. All through the seasons Ive been watching there is this mysterious black-smoke-monster that has been running around killing people- and here it is coming after Hugo. Have a great Sunday! The Elephant Tamer

Benny always wanted a pet Elephant... and after searching pet shop after pet shop and being told no time after time he decided that he would take it upon himself to catch and tame an Elephant. A simple rope trap and a bag of peanuts auta do the trick! Benny will be playing checkers with his Elephant before dawn. (this is his plan anyways...)

1 Year

So a year ago today, I got this crazy idea to do a new doodle every-day. 1 year later I have not missed a day! I have come up with some fun illustrations and created unique characters. If not anything else, I now have a personal illustration diary of the last year of my life. I hope that It has also entertained some of you, and continues to do so in times to come.
