Snakes and Reptiles

My daughter is turning 3 in a couple of days. We wanted to throw her a fun Birthday party and asked what she wanted. She said snakes. We then came up with a few other ides, Princess theme, Renting a bouncy castle, hiring a face-painter.... but she continued on with her snakes. We then found a local company that does reptile parties... and that is what we are doing for my little girls 3rd birthday.

Llama

So my brother called me yesterday morning and told me he was headed to a "Llama Fest" later that afternoon with his family. I thought that it sounded fun and decided to bring my crew along too. We went and had a lot of fun- watched some llama races and watched the llama obstacle course and ate some awesome Indian food. It was at this Indian Palace of sorts that looked like (As my brother describes it) Jasmin's House. While I was there enjoying the llamas I get a text from a good friend of mine in NJ (Whom I haven't talked to in months!) asking me if I could help him out. He needed to draw up a Llama logo for an Italian ice shop... what are the odds?
Anyways I drew this up for him, chances are he will tweak it and put some more work into it- but I thought it was worthy of today's Daily-Doodle as well as a fun little story. If you ever get the chance to go to a Llama Fest, I say Go!

Guinea Pig

When I was a little boy my family had a guinea pig for a day. It was one of those class pets that a student got to take home, take care of, and bring back the next day. I am not sure if they do that anymore- I would totally understand if they didn't. The guinea pig we took home didn't fare so well. I was holding the cute little ball of soft fur, and I began to hug it. I hugged and cuddled it so tightly I actually killed the poor thing. My Mother then drove from pet store to pet store looking for a look-alike to replace it with... I don't really remember the experience too much- but I still feel bad for killing a guinea pig. Sitting down to do today's doodle the spirit of that poor guinea pig must have come back to haunt me, and so here is to you dead little guinea pig! This is for you!

The Elephant Tamer

Benny always wanted a pet Elephant... and after searching pet shop after pet shop and being told no time after time he decided that he would take it upon himself to catch and tame an Elephant. A simple rope trap and a bag of peanuts auta do the trick! Benny will be playing checkers with his Elephant before dawn. (this is his plan anyways...)
