Angry Gnome

Ive heard calling a gnome "David" should you ever see a gnome is very upsetting to them. I guess just because there has only been one famous gnome in our world, assuming all gnomes share the same name as him is preposterous. I dont really get it myself, I am assuming it is like mistaking a Peruvian with a Mexican... or Samoan with a Tongan.... or vice-versa in either one of those scenarios; which I don't totally understand either. Lets not go there. Have a great Friday

Pretty soppy looking- This was a very experimental doodle. I played around with this awesome online app Flame Builder (check it out- its amazing!) and drew the initial doodle then took it into photoshop and just played around for about 15 minutes- the original doodle looked like this-

I also drew this up and made a banner / header out if it. If you get lucky you might see it come up.

I spent most of my free time today watching Adobe After Effects tutorial videos. I think learning that will be next on my list- I have wanted to learn that software for a while now. Maybe ill start doing animation posts soon as well. Have a great Tuesday

Pirate Guns

I was working on a sweet drawing- then I crashed... and hadn't saved. You would think that by now I would not run into that problem, or at least save more often... but every-once in a while I still get slapped with a reminder. I then resorted to giving you some pirate guns that I drew a while ago for a game that I was working on that seams to have stopped progressing. Llama

So my brother called me yesterday morning and told me he was headed to a "Llama Fest" later that afternoon with his family. I thought that it sounded fun and decided to bring my crew along too. We went and had a lot of fun- watched some llama races and watched the llama obstacle course and ate some awesome Indian food. It was at this Indian Palace of sorts that looked like (As my brother describes it) Jasmin's House. While I was there enjoying the llamas I get a text from a good friend of mine in NJ (Whom I haven't talked to in months!) asking me if I could help him out. He needed to draw up a Llama logo for an Italian ice shop... what are the odds?
Anyways I drew this up for him, chances are he will tweak it and put some more work into it- but I thought it was worthy of today's Daily-Doodle as well as a fun little story. If you ever get the chance to go to a Llama Fest, I say Go!

Water Balloon

Have you ever been pegged with a water-balloon and found it felt more like a giant paintball when it doesn't break but bounce off and pop on the grass? I have... although not recently. I actually drew this because when I sat down to do it I had a crazy pounding headache that made me dread doing anything that would force my eyes to look at a screen or make my mind think because those things made the pain worse. I forced myself to do so- and this is what came of it. The quality is horrible to say the least, I drew this in about 2 minutes with my mouse... but hey- it is "ADailyDoodle" after all... right? after not missing a day for over a year I was not going to let a silly headache stop me. I hope you all have a great Tuesday!

Angry Octopus

I'm back in game-art mode. The development on a game I have been working on has been moving along pretty quickly the past few weeks so I am trying to do art to keep up with the programmer. This was just a fun side-doodle of one of the characters in the game. I want to paint him and develop it more so it may pop up on ADailyDoodle again when that happens. Have a great Saturday!
