The Run-Away

The Runaway 14 year old boy grabbed the essentials on his way out of the house! In his angry tantrum he managed to strap a box of cheerios and pop-tarts along with his favorite pillow tucked under his arm.  I decided to play around with Alchemy again since it is so fun and I stopped when I saw something in the randomness. I saw a boy with a pack- and then sketched out the idea.  I then took the sketch and turned it into clean lines and then colored it in Photoshop.  (Still learning... )

This reminds me a lot and was probably inspired by the events of my child hood. One day my older brother got in an argument and he then threatened to run away. He packed a few things and ran out of the house with a blanket wrapped around him and he was determined to make it on his own... Not too long after my dad found him and brought him home.  I bet the boy in the picture turns around and goes home before going too far- but Anyway... have a great Wednesday! I posted a process picture because I thought some of you may find it interesting to see.

Oh your story is so wrong...Dad took everything that was purchased by him, so I had two T-shirts for shoes, and my baby blanket for a skirt...no pants. And Dad never found me. I turned around and came home after some strange man tried to pick me up.

That was the Readers Digest version

I love my Dad, He is awesome this was my stupidity, much like my wanting to Fail 12th grade just so I could take Photography 2.
